St. Lawrence University to Offer Peace Corps Prep Certificate Program
St. Lawrence University has established a new partnership with the Peace Corps centered on an undergraduate certificate program that will combine targeted coursework with hands-on experiences and build the competencies needed for students to be strong Peace Corps volunteers or other intercultural fieldworkers. The University’s Peace Corps Prep program, a certificate program that teaches students sector-specific skills, language proficiency, intercultural competence, and leadership, will launch in October 2021. Only about 150 other colleges and universities are part of the Peace Corps Prep Program, and St. Lawrence is among a handful of colleges in New York State to offer it. In … Read more

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Nathalie Duval-Couetil, professor in Purdue Polytechnic Institute‘s Department of Technology Leadership and Innovation, has been named the institute’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fellow. As a fellow, Duval-Couetil will serve as a resource to Polytechnic Institute faculty and students interested in pursuing technology commercialization and entrepreneurial activity. Nearly eighteen months ago, when the COVID-19 pandemic threw the world into chaos, businesses in the Boulder area found themselves in an unprecedented situation. As lockdowns, mask mandates and capacity limits were put in place, altered and removed, information flowed so quickly and the situation changed so rapidly that simply keeping up placed another burden on businesses already struggling to survive.
